in the Black Mountains 3 Day mountain biking event. Our package details

Rider package
The cost of entry into the Black Mountains 3 Day is £180 per person and includes the following:
- 1 time trial and 2 days of endurance riding.
- Accommodation in tented village for 2 nights. Find
details on accommodation here.
- Dinner and breakfast – bring cash for lunch. Find
details on catering here.
- Nutrition at feed stations.
- Great prizes from our
fantastic sponsors.
- Medical services.
- Rider t-shirt.
- Lots of other goodies.
- VAT - 2012 we have to unfortunately pay the tax man 20%, hence the £30 increase.
Optional extras
Massage service
- Massages will be available from the evening of Friday 29 June 2022 through to
Sunday 1 July 2012.
- A course of three 30 minute sport massages can be booked
online when you
register at a cost of £75 in total.
- Spot appointments may be available on the day but cannot be guaranteed - £30 for
30 minutes.
Mechanical service
- Servicing will be charged on a time and materials basis, priority will be given
to bikes in serious disorder. We have secured a local parts suppliers so a
parts list will be available on the
Bearded Man blog soon.
- A schedule of expected costs will also be available on the Bearded Man blog soon.
Black Mountains Race Jersey
- A newly designed and produced Morvélo race jersey is available to riders and companions for £40 each - exact design will be available to see on the Bearded Man Blog soon. The jersey will be delivered at registration in the same size as the t-shirt selected when registering.

Become part of the Bearded Man team as a volunteer
Volunteers are always needed and fully appreciated. If you would love to be part
of this event but for whatever reason are unable to ride, do the next best thing
and volunteer.
As a volunteer you will be part of the Bearded Man team and will be provided with
a volunteer t-shirt, the same food and accommodation as the riders
and other treats.
Bearded Man is looking for volunteers for the following roles in the Black Mountains
3 Day:
- Safety marshals.
- Route marshals.
- Rider marshalls (riding some or all of the trail).
- Feed station helpers.
- Tented village helpers.
Marshalling volunteers must be a minimum age of 18 years old.

Cancellation policy
The Bearded Man cancellation policy is as follows:
- Cancellation before 1 June 2012: riders will receive a full refund less the Paypal fees.
- Cancellation on or after 1 June 2012: there will only be refunds on a per case basis and at the discretion of Bearded Man. Bearded Man recommends that riders take out private insurance.
